Lehmesa: Return by Moonlight at the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ) invites visitors to discover the world of sea turtles through a scientific and environmental lens.

Focusing on the Hawksbill turtle, the only sea turtle that nests on Qatar’s shores, the exhibition traces her journey from sand to sea, while highlighting the richness of Qatar’s coastal biodiversity and the vital connection between its shoreline and marine ecosystems.

Through immersive and interactive experiences, Lehmesa explores the evolutionary journey, physiology, and habitats of sea turtles in Qatar while raising awareness about the environmental challenges they face. The exhibition aims to inspire all generations to take part in protecting Qatar’s marine life and fostering a more sustainable future.

In-kind collaborations with Qatar University (QU) and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC).
