To celebrate National Sports Day, we have a special family storytelling session that looks at how people can stay healthy and strong. Come along to the museum baraha and take part in the sport games and activities.


The World of Butterflies

Family drop-in event. In association with Friends of the Environment Centre.
This drop-in session tells you all you wanted to know about the life of a butterfly. See some beautiful examples up close and hear some fascinating stories connected to these creatures.


The World of Qatari Arthropods

Family drop-in event. In association with Friends of the Environment Centre.
After exploring the arthropod display case in the museum gallery, spend some time with experts who study Qatar’s insect species and discover some fascinating insights into these animals.
