Located on the ground floor and open to both the lagoon (at the Corniche side) and the Baraha courtyard at NMoQ, Desert Rose Café offers a natural continuation of the museum’s journey through Qatari culture.

Operated by Chef Noof Al Marri, one of Qatar’s leading chefs, the café is recognised in the MICHELIN Guide as a MICHELIN selected restaurant. Here, the flavours and traditions of Qatar are brought to the table, offering guests an opportunity to further immerse themselves in the country’s culinary heritage.

The design of Desert Rose Café is a direct reference to Jean Nouvel’s impressive architecture, re-imagined at a human scale, just like the naturally occurring desert rose mineral formation that pops out as a crystal jewel from an otherwise vast and endless desert.
